About

My love for furniture started when I was a kid, and my dad opened his antique shop thirty years ago. Among the antiques, there were always a few mid-century modern pieces that instantly caught my eye. I feel lucky to live close to countries famous for their beautiful furniture – Italy, France, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Scandinavia – and of course, Hungary. At Studio Bru, you’ll find unique designs from all these places. Some pieces stay in their original form, others get refreshed with new upholstery or wood restoration – but we always keep the character and patina. Most of our collection comes from the 20th century, ranging from Art Deco to contemporary design.
